“Icaro” the fiftieth album of Alberto Nemo will be released on 14th June 2021. It has been
produced by CNI Compagnia Nuove Indye.
In the classic myth Dedalo and his son Icaro escape from prison and fly away one starry night, and
so in this new chapter of his musical Odyssey, Alberto Nemo’s voice rises from earthly harshness,
represented by the sound of the electric guitar, to reach its destination. In this extraordinary flight
of Alberto’s song – Dedalo represents the breaking of the dark and a second voice (the young Icaro)
follows closely, but immediately we percieve that he will be lost at the first light of day. He is the
naive youth who does not listen, who is in love with his flight and loses his awareness of what is
about to happen. In this mysterious song and epic poem of Nemo there is the entire range of
sentiments that pass from joyous freedom to the drama of the greatest loss, son Icaro.
